Frozen pipes, no heat, no water

Furnaces, boilers and mini splits
Fall tuneups before the cold gets serious, and no-heat calls when winter wins anyway. Short cycling, cold zones, dead circulators. We also install and service the ductless mini splits that heat as well as they cool. No central air, no duct work.
New builds, remodels and appliances
We plumb whole houses on new builds and gut renovations, from the well line and the water heater to the last fixture, and we work to the builder’s schedule instead of holding it up. Also dishwashers, washers, dryers and the shutoff valves nobody thinks about.

Two ways we work
Residential. Farmhouses, village homes, camps, condos and second homes. The houses people live in, and the ones they wish they lived in more. Frozen pipes at midnight, water heaters, wells, drains, mini splits, appliance installs and whole-house plumbing on a new build. It is all on the Residential page.
Commercial. Inns, restaurants, offices, apartment buildings, rental properties, shops and town buildings. When plumbing goes down in season you lose more than water, which is why maintenance clients get on the First-Call List and a free walk-through before the season starts. Straight pricing
You get a price before we start work, not after. There is no fee to come look and tell you what is wrong. If a repair of ours fails, the return trip costs you nothing. We take cards, checks and cash.
Fall tuneups are quoted before we book, and the season runs from September until the cold arrives. If a boiler we tuned still quits this winter, the diagnostic visit is free. You pay for the repair, not the diagnosis.
